Rumored “Raw” Match for “SummerSlam”

It is safe to say that the women in WWE are on fire right now, with the announcement of the ‘Mae Young Classic,’ the recent two editions of the Women’s Money In The Bank match and the recent women’s match on ‘Raw.’

Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer recently explained that one of the storylines going into ‘SummerSlam’ will have a focus between former friends.

Meltzer noted that at ‘SummerSlam,’ Alexa Bliss is suppoedly going to be defending her Raw Women’s Championship against Nia Jax. This will put both real-life and storyline friends up against one another in what will likely be a heel vs. heel match, unless one of them were to turn face before the event.

The video above showcases the duo becoming friends on ‘Raw,’ despite being friends in real life. This is truly where this feud started, so we recommend watching this to see the beginning of the premier rivalry for the women in the Summer!

It has been speculated that they and a ‘Smackdown Live‘ superstar may join ‘Total Divas’ on the E! Network. This match may play a factor into the storylines and events showcased on that show.

I don’t know what to think of this personally. I love both of these athletes. They are good, no denying that. I just wanted to see something that felt BIG and this doesn’t exactly feel that way to me. Albeit it, I am biased as I can tell it won’t be someone like Emma or Sasha Banks against Alexa and both are heel. Mickie James vs. Alexa Bliss could’ve been great, going back off Bliss having James helping her to bring her back to WWE.
