Rapper to Moderate Rap Battle Between The Usos and The New Day

With the storyline between The New Day and Tag Champions The Usos heating up, it was recently announced that the two teams will meet next week for a rap battle on ‘Smackdown Live,’ as The Usos hyped up on ‘Talking Smack’ last week.

Today famous rapper Wale announced he would be the moderator for the rap battle next week on ‘Smackdown Live’ between The Usos and The New Day.

Wale tweeted out that he got the all clear from Vince McMahon to join in on the rap battle. Wale has commonly mentioned in the past and is active on his twitter in saying he is a wrestling fan, primarily enjoying WWE. The video above showcases the match between The Hype Bros and The Usos this past week, which led to the decision to have the rap battle. It is worthy of a watch if you missed the segment.

This would ultimately cause each member of The New Day and than in retaliation The Usos to respond.

I am interested to see how Wale fits into this role. I’m sure he’ll love being in the ring, I just hope the segment is good as it will be placed on the 4th July edition of Smackdown Live. Of course, unlike with the celebrities featured on this week’s edition of Raw, Wale is an actual fan so I think he’ll be fine in such a position.
