Prior to this week’s superstar shake-up, we heard about some pretty big roster moves which involved AJ Styles and Roman Reigns switching brands. However, neither of those two rumored moves happened. At one point, those moves may have been on the table, but according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, plans for who was going to which brand during the shake-up were constantly being changed.

Furthermore, according to Cageside Seats, most of the roster switches were last minute decisions. So, again, what we heard originally regarding Roman Reigns and AJ Styles may have been the original plan until things got changed.

Arguably the two biggest moves in the shake-up were Dean Ambrose going over to Raw, and Charlotte moving over to SmackDown. Other notable names that switched brands include The New Day, Bray Wyatt, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Mickie James, and Alexa Bliss. However, while Owens moved from Raw to SmackDown, he may end up back on Raw if he loses to Chris Jericho at Payback.
