Bayley Says WWE Shouldn’t Add This to the Women’s Division

WWE has made great strides with the women over the last year, and they’re now being presented on the same level as the male wrestlers. In fact, at certain points, their matches have seemed more important than any of the other matches on the card. But, there’s still a ton of things that the men have that the women don’t have, and one of thos things is coming up on January 29.

While speaking on the Montgomery Advertiser’s Piledriver podcast, Bayley, who is now the number one contender for the Raw Women’s Championship, was asked if WWE should add a women’s Royal Rumble. You can check out her response below:

“I kind of honestly think we need a few more girls to do something like that because the guys have 30 men. We don’t have many girls. Even if it was Raw and SmackDown combined, I don’t think it would make it 20. If we had more girls brought in, maybe like NXT girls, that would be really cool and I think it would be a lot of fun.”

There has also been talk of adding a women’s Money in the Bank match. In fact, WWE is actually considering adding that to their annual MITB show. So, it looks like we’ll get that before we get a women’s Royal Rumble.
