Wrestling podcasts are the new tell-all book. Chris Jericho and Steve Austin have been the most prolific internet radio hosts, but many others have gotten into the podcasting game. Notably the Nature Boy, Ric Flair.

But it seems Flair is done with podcasting, as the show’s official Twitter account recently posted a Looney Tunes “that’s all folks!” and a thank you to subscribers.

Ric’s co-host was asked about the reason for the show ending. It seems, simply, the Nature Boy “didn’t want to do it anymore.”

The Ric Flair Show offered a wide variety of interviews with pro wrestling greats, from Cody Rhodes and Sean Michaels to Michael Hayes and Magnum TA. There were even appearances from the likes of UFC’s Dana White and WWE-turned-ESPN announcer, Jonathan Coachman.

Reports late last year suggested that Flair’s WWE role would soon be expanding once again. That’s yet to come to fruition, but it’s easy to imagine Flair’s increased WWE commitments meaning that he’d be less interested in pursuing side projects like the podcast.

He also recently posted a video of himself doing a very impressive lift, with a caption boldly claiming that he would never retire. An in-ring return seems more than unlikely at this point, but it would be no surprise for Naitch to be preparing for an expanded WWE role.
