WWE Officials Very High on Emma, Women’s Title Run Could Be Coming Soon

Emma’s WWE career hasn’t been very easy. Her initial run as the fun-loving dancing Emma was very over in NXT because she was a great wrestler and was the perfect foil to Paige’s “Anti-Diva” gimmick at the time.

That run earned her a spot on the main roster, but a shoplifting incident in 2014 left her with a ton of backstage heat with WWE officials that has kept her role limited within the company. However, that may finally be about to change.

According to a report from DailyWrestlingNews.com, WWE officials are very happy with her right now because they’ve seen the effort put in to change her perception in the company along with recreating her heel persona on NXT during her second run.

She just rejoined the main roster shortly before Wrestlemania, and she was involved in the five on five match during the event’s kickoff show that severed as a good sendoff for Brie Bella.

The report claims that some within the company are pushing for Emma to have a title run at some point, but it’s not specifically in the plans right now. On paper, it’s possible that Sasha Banks win the title from Charlotte, and Emma would win it from Banks somewhere down the line.
