Don’t worry just yet. Brock Lesnar is signed through April of next year, so there isn’t any concern over Lesnar walking out of his deal no matter what happens next weekend at UFC 200.
However, the future of Brock Lesnar is going to be in question if he performs well at that event and wants to pursue his career in UFC rather than continue in WWE.
According to a report from DailyWrestlingNews.com, there is already talk about signing Brock Lesnar to a contract extension, and Vince McMahon is very high on the idea of locking him down as soon as possible.
Since Vince is looking to make Lesnar happy, it really explains a lot of why his return to UFC for one more fight was so easy for him to get since Vince and WWE officials don’t want to make him abandon WWE for UFC.
As far as they’re concerned, Brock has been a model employee and has done everything that has been asked of him. However, many people would argue it is easy to be a model employee when you’re rarely there.
At this time, there is said to be no heat on Brock for wanting to return to UFC for one more fight, but WWE hasn’t exactly been 100% supportive of the idea as Stephanie McMahon pointed out earlier this week during an interview with Business Insider, which you can read right here.
