Tyson Kidd’s spinal injury has already cost him over a year of his career with no timetable for a return to the ring. Unfortunately, it looks like his career could be coming to an abrupt and an extreme end.

It’s been generally assumed that Kidd’s return to the ring was a pipe dream considering the way WWE handled the Daniel Bryan situation over the past few years. What’s interesting is a decision is going to need to be made soon.

According to a report from DailyWrestlingNews.com, Tyson Kidd’s contract with WWE is set to expire very soon if it hasn’t already. There is no news on when the contract will or has expired.

However, there is a question about what will happen with Kidd because WWE officials are said to be resistant to the idea of clearing him to wrestle again due to the severity of the injury.

Daniel Bryan’s situation was a perfect example of what Tyson Kidd can expect from WWE officials about getting back into the ring. The fear is he is too much of a health risk to himself, and the last thing anyone wants is one more serious injury in a WWE ring, or something even more fatal to happen to Tyson Kidd in the ring.

Do you think Tyson Kidd should retire from wrestling to preserve his health?
