Sasha Banks is such a strong wrestler and she’s built such a great rapport with the WWE Universe that it’s given her the chance to make women’s wrestling history over the past two years of WWE programming.
Her accomplishments with Bayley in Brooklyn are well known, but her match with Charlotte at “Hell in a Cell” will be remembered as a very important match despite the mixed reaction it has received since Sunday night.
Regardless of the outcome, it was history. Not only did Banks and Charlotte have the first women’s “Cell” match, but became the first women in WWE history to main event a PPV. The only problem is it could cost The Boss significant time away from the ring.
According to a report from CageSideSeats.com, Sasha was helped to the back after her match with Charlotte at “Hell in a Cell” and was a no show last night on Raw. Of course, that could be to sell the injury, but the expectation is she could be missing some time.
It’s clear WWE will be pushing Bayley vs. Charlotte in the immediate future, so it’s a strong possibility that the powers that be could use this time to give The Boss a rest.
Who do you think WWE has booked Sasha’s title reigns to be so short?
