This isn’t surprising but it doesn’t mean it makes things any easier. According to PWInsider, John Cena and Randy Orton are no longer advertised for “Survivor Series 2016”. Orton was rumored to miss the show due to his wife being expected to give birth around the time of the show. Cena on the other hand is likely taking time off to film his “American Grit” reality series, as he did last year around this time.

Cena and Orton, two of the top stars in the company, would likely have been involved in the “Smackdown Live” vs. “Monday Night Raw” Survivor Series elimination match for brand supremacy. If Orton hadn’t been involved in that match, odds are he would have been in a match against Bray Wyatt, which might have been a casket match based on their interactions over the last few weeks.

While Orton and Cena being out isn’t good, it’s certainly not the worst thing in the world. Cena hasn’t been around much lately anyway and Kane can be swapped in for Orton without much effort. At the end of the day, it’s really hard to complain about someone missing a show to be there for the birth of his child. Orton can pick up his feud with Wyatt as soon as he’s back.

Which of the two are you going to miss more? Would you have had Cena on the Survivor Series team or doing something else? Let us know in the comments below.
