A few months ago, it was rumored that Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, and Roman Reigns could be reuniting The Shield before the end of 2016. The rumor was that they would be facing The Club at “Survivor Series.”
However, that was before the WWE Draft put AJ Styles and Dean Ambrose on SmackDown while Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Karl Anderson, and Luke Gallows were all drafted to Raw splitting the stables.
According to a report from Wrestlezone.com, the possibility of The Shield reuniting is at least being talked about by WWE officials for “Survivor Series.”
Although nothing is confirmed, WWE officials are at least considering the possibility since Ambrose, Reigns, and Rollins are all being booked as faces now on WWE programming.
Not to mention that “Survivor Series” is a split PPV between Raw and SmackDown so it wouldn’t be totally out of the question for The Shield to unite again against a worthy opponent.
The reunion could be pushed back to the “Royal Rumble” as well, so it’s not a make or break situation for “Survivor Series” in a few months. The point is WWE is looking a way to bring them back together.
