Tyson Kidd has been out of action for over a year since Samoa Joe’s Muscle Buster went wrong, injured his spine, and cost him the past year of his career and potentially this wrestling career.

It was reported recently that his contract with WWE would be expiring soon and that the powers that be had no intention of resigning Kidd to a new wrestling deal with the company.

According to a report from CageSideSeats.com, that is not accurate. In fact, it’s being reported by them that Tyson Kidd signed a new deal with WWE months ago.

Although the report is claiming that he signed a new deal with the company, there aren’t many details as to the contract itself. There also isn’t much to know about Kidd’s potential return to the ring.

There is no question that Tyson Kidd could find a spot in the WWE Performance Center to work if his career is officially over. His wrestling career can only continue if he is healthy.

WWE officials are also going to need to take a risk with him, but the severity of the injury may force their hand to end Kidd’s career rather than see him end up in a wheelchair or worse.

Do you think Tyson Kidd has wrestled his last match?
