Paige Comments on Her Official Status With WWE

There has been much speculation recently regarding Paige and her status with WWE. It had been heavily rumored that she was leaving the company, after her real-life boyfriend, Alberto Del Rio, was released by WWE last week.

All the rumors and unknowns were put to rest today, when Paige posted the following message on her Instagram account. In it, she addresses both her official status with the company, as well as her recent violation of their wellness policy:

Recent events over the past few days have caused conflicting rumors to be spread throughout social media regarding her status with WWE. It was previously reported that she got a tattoo that said “Alberto” on it, in support of Del Rio. However, it was also reported that she was staying with the company, and will be appearing on “Monday Night Raw” next week.

I hope that this is the last of this drama, and everyone can put this entire incident behind them. I’ve said before, and I’ll say it again: if Paige really wants to leave the company, then WWE should let her. However, if she wants to stay, then should could be a huge part of “Raw,” as there are many wonderful and talented performers that she could work with in the company. She is a great talent, and I hope we see her doing what she does best, which is compete in the ring, very soon.
