The tension between the current Intercontinental Champion The Miz and SmackDown’s General Manager Daniel Bryan is heating up fast.

Their feud hasn’t been taking place in the ring, but The Miz has been the thorn in the side of Daniel Bryan ever since he was drafted to SmackDown a few months ago.

Their tension didn’t escalate until Bryan called Miz a coward for wrestling safe on “Talking Smack” after an edition of SmackDown a few weeks ago. That set Miz off to make Bryan’s life as difficult as possible.

Since then, he’s cut Bryan every chance he could, successfully defended the Intercontinental Championship, and is now asking for a contract renegotiation.

If it weren’t for Bryan’s severe injuries and history with concussions, you’d think that WWE was building to a match between Daniel Bryan and The Miz for the near future.

However, it is being reported by CageSideSeats.com that WWE has no plans for Daniel Bryan to get back into the ring and Bryan vs. The Miz is extremely unlikely to happen in the ring. Bryan vs. Miz is going to continue over the next several weeks as the two continue to play their game for control on SmackDown.

Do you think Bryan should have one more match?
