The return of Randy Orton has been imminent. It’s pretty clear that he’s not going to be at 100% for a few more weeks or a few months, but The Viper at 80% is still better than most.
It’s clear that Randy Orton will be returning to WWE over the next several weeks. A new report is claiming that he’s very close to returning and has a major date planned with Brock Lesnar for a special night in August.
According to DailyWrestlingNews.com, Randy Orton is scheduled to visit the WWE Performance Center in Orlando over the next week for training. He’s expected to get medically cleared over his visit.
What’s especially interesting is it was revealed during Monday Night Raw last night that Brock Lesnar’s next opponent for “Summerslam” is going to be revealed later tonight during the SmackDown taping for this week.
Although the rumor mill says many things, the latest rumors going into tonight’s SmackDown are claiming that we’ll be seeing Lesnar vs. Orton at “Summerslam” in August.
The match up is very interesting, and seeing Orton counter an F-5 into an RKO would be epic. However, there is some question about throwing Orton into a match with Lesnar so soon after returning from a serious injury.
Do you want to see Brock Lesnar vs. Randy Orton at “Summerslam” this year?
