Vickie Guerrero Returning to Monday Night Raw Tonight, Not Kurt Angle

Over the weekend, there was a rumor that Kurt Angle could be making his return to WWE during tonight’s Fourth of July edition of Monday Night Raw.

The rumor not only made sense of weeks of rumors about Kurt Angle “talking” with WWE, and a brief cameo on Raw as a part of the Independence Day show didn’t seem out of the question.

Unfortunately, this will be the rumor killer about Angle returning to Raw tonight. It was rumored that he could be making an appearance as a former SmackDown GM during the show, and WWE has already announced the segment for Raw tonight.

However, it is being reported by DailyWrestlingNews.com and other sources that former SmackDown GM Vickie Guerrero will be the one featured during the segment tonight.

Guerrero hasn’t been featured on WWE programming since 2014 when her goodbye segment ended up being a mini face turn and a “mud wrestling” match with Stephanie McMahon.

It’s disappointing for the Angle rumor to get as much traction as it did only to be revealed as just a rumor, but it will still be nice to see Vickie Guerrero.

In her time away from WWE, she’s been remarried and has begun a full-time career in medical administration. It will be interesting to see the reaction she gets from the WWE Universe.
