On paper, Sheamus has had a great heel run since turning last year. Over the last twelve months, The Celtic Warrior has won “Money in the Bank,” cashed it in successfully, and became the WWE Champion for a time.

It’s unfortunate how his momentum as WWE Champion and as a heel slowly diminished, especially since WWE made him the leader of “The League of Nations” stable that never really gained momentum.

Since the stable broke up, Sheamus has been floating around doing many different things. Most recently, he’s been putting over Apollo Crews in singles matches, which has been a very good thing for both men.

According to a report from RingSideNews.com, WWE may have something different planned for Sheamus. The report is claiming that Sheamus could be turning face again soon.

Apparently, Sheamus worked as a face at a WWE live event in Huntington, West Virginia. Although he ended up losing the “Tornado match,” it’s very interesting that WWE is experimenting with his persona during live events.

The upcoming WWE Draft and brand split are going to change a lot of things, so a face turn or heel turn for many WWE superstars isn’t that crazy. Sheamus is just the first one that has been rumored about before the draft.
