All reports have Eric Bischoff taking things slow behind the scenes thus far. However, some information has come to light about Eric being careful about how to work with a lot of talents backstage. One of the people that Bischoff is watching is Shane McMahon.

According to a report from RingSideNews on Saturday, Eric Bischoff has learned over the years that people behind the scenes with “creative control” are a problem. That was a significant problem for WCW during Bischoff’s tenure and it led to a lot of problems.
It’s for that reason, Eric doesn’t want to “oversee” Shane McMahon and ruffled feathers backstage. Shane is one of the top heels on SmackDown Live and WWE programming at the moment. Therefore, the situation between Bischoff and Shane is really interesting.

The current momentum of the storyline has a lot of people believing this would be the payoff of the long heel run that Shane has been on for quite some time.
