Paige Attempting to Get Out of Her WWE Contract

Paige is clearly unhappy with her current position in WWE. The reports about some of her issues backstage with the company have been going on for a few months now. It’s the old phrase that where there is smoke, there’s fire.

Right now, Paige is injured and most likely about to get fusion neck surgery, which will keep her out of the ring for at least eight months. On paper, the sixty-day suspension on her right now isn’t even that immediate issue when it comes to her status with WWE.

According to a report from RingSideSeats.com, Paige recently told TMZ that she “has to” return to WWE, which didn’t sound like her heart was still into the WWE product.

CageSideSeats.com is reporting that Paige may be using the WWE Wellness Policy to get out of her WWE contract. It was previously reported that she had hired lawyers to see what her options were, but it seems that she is attempting to find a way out of her deal.

She is currently signed with WWE through at least 2019, so it’ll take something big for the company to terminate Paige from her contract.
