Goldberg's Merchandise Being Outsold by a Surprising Name

There’s something to that chin.

Despite Goldberg’s major return this week on “Monday Night Raw” and an announced match against Brock Lesnar, his merchandise is currently being outsold by a very unlikely name.

According to Forbes.com, James Ellsworth merchandise is outselling Goldberg gear. Ellsworth’s t-shirt, pictured below, was the top selling shirt on WWE.com this past Thursday. It’s for sale here.

Ellsworth is an underdog who is on a roll at the moment as he’s defeated Smackdown World Champion AJ Styles on back to back episodes of “Smackdown Live.” On the other hand, Goldberg recently returned earlier this week in a major role which could see him main event “Survivor Series 2017.”

This is likely just a one off fluke but that doesn’t mean it’s not amusing. Ellsworth is someone who isn’t going to be around for long and the shirt is a funny image so the fans are having a good time while they can. Everyone wins here: WWE gets money for almost no effort and Ellsworth gets a nice paycheck, plus a big raise for his independent bookings. Goldberg will be fine.
