Ember Moon: “I Decided I Was Going to Make WWE Want Me”

Ember Moon is one of the most interesting developmental talents to come into NXT in awhile. She has a very interesting look, which she apparently bases off of Game of Thrones characters, and her “Corkscrew Stunner” is an awesome finsher.

Asuka vs. Ember Moon is inevitable in NXT, so it’s going to be interesting to see how NXT officials build to that feud because Moon has a shot of being Asuka’s first loss.

Recently, Moon did an interview with the Miami Herald where she discussed her time in the wrestling business and talked about how to took four WWE tryouts for her to get signed. You can read the full interview right here. Below is her story:

“When I was 18, I had my very first tryout for WWE. I had another tryout, when I was 19 and another tryout when I was 20. After that didn’t go the way I wanted it to, I decided I was going to make them want me, and that’s exactly what I did. I traveled all around the world and made a name for myself on the Indies. So when I tried out again and they saw all the experience that I had — eight years later seeing me for the fourth time — and they saw all the potential that I had, they saw something special in me.”
