It’s a little early to be discussing the WWE Hall of Inductees for next year’s class, but we’ve openly been talking about Wrestlemania 33’s matches, so why not see who is being rumored to be joining wrestling immortality.

The WWE Hall of Fame ceremony has become a Wrestlemania tradition over the past several years, and it’s a treat to honor former stars. There are still many of the past who deserve the honor, but WWE may be giving the shining light to WCW again this year.

According to a report from Sportskeeda.com, Diamond Dallas Page is the first rumored name to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2017. Although his official run in WWE wasn’t overly impressive, his contributions to the business cannot be ignored.

First and foremost, DDP’s WCW career was excellent. He was a strong United States Champion as well as a three-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion. His run in WCW gave him many more accolades and the “Diamond Cutter” was a fantastic finisher.

Along with his wrestling career, DDP Yoga’s influence over the WWE roster cannot be ignored, which includes the success it’s had with other WWE Hall of Famer’s lives.
