Samoa Joe is on a warpath in NXT right now. He’s taking out anything that moves until William Regal gives him Shinsuke Nakamura or the NXT Championship. It’s a great way to keep Joe as a dominate force, put over Nakamura, and give him a great farewell tour.

However, it’s not just about ending his run in NXT the right way. He’s friggin’ Samoa Joe, so ensuring that he debuts on the main roster properly is just as important. Well, WWE seems to have a plan that may be a good idea or not depending on how you look at it.

According to a new report from Sportskeeda.com, Braun Strowman recently demanded “better competition” from Mick Foley, which is expected to lead to Joe’s debut on Raw.

On paper, Samoa Joe seems to be a better fit for the SmackDown brand, but it’s hard to argue with having him on Raw. Joe is likely finished with NXT after NXT Takeover: Toronto, so he’s probably going to debut after “Survivor Series.”

Strowman is a good idea on paper for Samoa Joe, but why is WWE building up Braun as an unstoppable force only to lose all that momentum to Joe?

Do you think Samoa Joe should be “drafted” to Raw or SmackDown?
