NXT Preview – The Debut of Sanity

After some shaky months, NXT is finally getting back on track with new storylines and new wrestlers. The women’s division is starting to build a compelling roster of new faces, and Samoa Joe is preparing for another showdown with Shinsuke Nakamura. The flagging Andrade “Cien” Almas has finally turned heel against the darling of the CWC, invigorating his character with a fantastic dash of evil arrogance.

And, on top of it all, the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic is underway, building new alliances and new rivalries. Last week saw the Revival and the Authors of Pain move forward, and this week we’ll see the glorious team of Bobby Roode and Tye Dillinger take on some mysterious new competition.

SAnitY arrives

What is SAnitY? We don’t really know, aside from their mysterious, anarchic teaser videos and their oddly intercapped name. I’m sure you could look up spoilers for their pre-taped debut, but come on, where’s the fun in that?

They’ll take on the Glorious 10 in Bobby Roode and Tye Dillinger. There’s nothing in NXT more fabulous than this pairing, but somehow I expect their, uh, self-confidence to be a little too much for one another to take. Don’t expect them to work well together against their new competitors.
