Recently, Vince McMahon suffered an injury while training that requires surgery. Considering his age and the workload he takes on, there is some speculation about what is happening behind the scenes in WWE.
We all know that Mr. McMahon won’t stop breathing WWE until the day he dies or is physically unable to, but the injury has provided some insight into what his current role is right now within WWE.
According to a report from CageSideSeats.com, Vince McMahon is currently reviewing scripts in Stamford, CT while he recovers from his injury and Triple H is the man with the final say right now for WWE shows.
Although the same report is speculating that Vince is still hands on for Raw and SmackDown since the WWE Draft and brand extension, it’s also being reported that he is currently only working on Raw.
It seems that Vince McMahon is still head of creative for both shows, but his focus is on Raw. The Game being in charge is temporary until Vince’s injury subsides and he can return to work full-time.
When do you think the time will be right for Vince McMahon to hand the keys to WWE over to someone else?
