Frankly, WWE’s desire to have this match is a little confusing because they’ve been trying to make it happen for four years now, but it continues to hit roadblock after roadblock.

Brock Lesnar vs. The Rock seems like one of those matches that looks amazing on paper, and it would sell the crap out of an event like Wrestlemania, but the actual match would likely disappoint the WWE Universe.

According to a report from Four3Four.com, WWE is still planning and trying to make Brock vs. Rock happen at Wrestlemania, but the latter’s schedule has ben standing in their way for years now.

The fact is that getting back into the ring is a huge health risk for The Rock, especially when you consider the type of match he would likely have with Lesnar. The other big problem is he has nothing to gain from it.

WWE has nothing to gain from The Rock defeating Brock Lesnar aside from the short-term financial gain. If anyone is going to get the win over Lesnar, it should be an active WWE Superstar who can capitalize on the momentum boost of the win. Brock vs. Rock is a lot of fun, but there are better matches to book.
