AJ Styles Debuts in “Royal Rumble” Match

After weeks of rumors and speculation, it has all finally come true. Roman Reigns began the “Royal Rumble” as the first entrant. Rusev was revealed to be the second entrant. He was eliminated before the third entrant

Rusev was revealed to be the second entrant. He was eliminated before the third entrant could be revealed. As the clock counted down from ten to one, everyone in the arena and everyone had home counted down to history as AJ Styles entered a WWE arena for the first time.

Styles went one on one against Reigns and drew a lot of support from the WWE Universe as expected. Styles remained in the ring and fought with several WWE superstars for fifteen entrees.

It was Kevin Owens that drew number eighteen, and he was the perfect guy to eliminate AJ on his first night. Owens just lost to Dean Ambrose earlier in the night and needed another feud as well as some fresh heel heat. AJ Styles is over with the crowd, and he’s off and running in WWE.

After weeks of anticipation, it was surreal to see The Phenomenal One come through the curtain at a WWE event, especially since it was the “Royal Rumble”.

Styles was eliminated by Owens, and then he was eliminated by Sami Zayn. Could we see all three men in a feud heading into Wrestlemania 32?
