It’s a bonus. Wrestlers are a lot of things, but to outsiders, they are often called actors who are pretending to do a lot of things on any given show. Somehow that rarely turns into success in the acting world, though every now and then you see someone getting a chance to show what they can do in Hollywood. Now it seems that we will be seeing that again with a prominent WWE star.
Former WWE Champion and current SmackDown star Jinder Mahal has announced that he will be appearing as a regular character on ABC’s series Big Sky. The show airs every Thursday night at 10pm EST, with Mahal playing a character named Dhruv. Mahal’s first appearance will be on November 18 and he says he will be appearing on the show every week.

Mahal is certainly a star in WWE. Check out what he can do in his regular job:
Opinion: I know Mahal might not have the most fan support in the world but it’s great to see him, or any wrestler for that matter, getting a spot like this. Appearing on ABC is a big deal and hopefully it goes well for him. This is the kind of thing that WWE can milk for some publicity, though I’d be curious to see how happy FOX is that a star appearing on its television show is also appearing on another network’s show.
What do you think of Mahal? How will he do in the role? Let us know in the comments below.
