I’d call it a main event. We are less than six months away from WrestleMania 37 and that means it is high time for WWE to have a plan in mind. That may be easier said that done this time around though as there is the Coronavirus, as well as all kinds of other things that can happen at any given time. One such incident has changed the way WWE works but now we may be seeing a heck of a dream match.

Back in 2019, Becky Lynch defeated Ronda Rousey and Charlotte in a triple threat match in the main event of WrestleMania 35. That match became the apex of the history of women’s wrestling and it is hard to imagine that the match will be topped for a very long time. The only arguable flaw to the match could be the addition of Charlotte, as Rousey vs. Lynch had been built up with Charlotte being added in. However, we might be getting the original idea in the future.

According to Wrestlingnews.co, Rousey vs. Lynch is expected to take place at WrestleMania 37 and may even headline the show. The idea of WrestleMania 37 will be to have WWE back to normal, though the match is not expected to be held if WrestleMania is in the Thunder Dome. Lynch is currently on maternity leave but is expected to be back in WWE in January or February. Rousey has been seen training in the ring again with various wrestlers, though she has not appeared for WWE since WrestleMania 36. Her training included a session with James Storm, which Storm mentioned on Twitter on Friday night.

I’d call it a dream match. Check out how Lynch vs. Rousey was set up:

Opinion: If there is one thing more impressive than having a women’s match main event WrestleMania, it would be having them do it again. Rousey vs. Lynch was scheduled to be one of the biggest women’s matches of all time, but it would have been done at Survivor Series instead. That is a big stage, but there would be something different to having it on the biggest stage of them all.
