Crossover appeal. The Wednesday Night Wars have become one of the more interesting parts of every wrestling week. There are so many great wrestlers working for both AEW and NXT that it has become quite the fun night for fans who watch either show or both. That is the kind of thing you get to do every week, but now one name might be going over to the other side.

One of the best things that you can see on any given Wednesday night is a group of wrestlers you might not get to see in other major promotions. AEW has found more than a few hidden gems outside of the mainstream wrestling world and they make some eyebrows go up. They have also taken some stars from WWE and made them into big names of their own, but now the opposite may be happening, or at least something close to it.

During a recent Twitch stream, AEW star Miro said that AEW has lost Ben Carter, who has gone to the Dark Side. While not confirmed, this may mean that Carter has signed with WWE. Carter received positive reviews after three matches in AEW but was never signed to a contract. As a result, he was considered someone who would be fought over by various promotions. Carter has not commented on his future and there is no word on where he would be used if he has signed in WWE.

Carter looked like a star while he was around. Check out what he was doing in AEW:

Opinion: This is an interesting signing, but above all else, good for Carter. He has gone from a complete unknown to three matches, two of which were on a web show, and now may have signed with the biggest promotion in the world. That is one of the best things you can see for a young wrestler and hopefully he makes a lot of money and becomes a big star. If this is what you get out of two major companies, the wrestling market should be better as a result.

What do you think of Carter? Where do you want him to sign? Let us know in the comments below.
