That’s a big one. There are certain matches in WWE that are only going to take place at special events throughout the year. Some of these are a lot more interesting than others but when you get something important, it can be quite the cool moment to see. That might be the case for a pretty big match next month, as it is something that has never been seen at this level.
Earlier this month, WWE presented its annual Draft. This is one of the few times each year when WWE truly shakes things up and it can help out quite a bit. The two television shows are able to get some fresh wrestlers and matches, which can offer something that we have not seen before. It also can make things feel that much bigger when the rules are changed, which will be the case in November.
According to Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE is planning on a match between WWE Champion Drew McIntyre and Universal Champion Roman Reigns at Survivor Series on November 22. This is a concept that WWE has used on and off at the show over the last few years, usually with neither title being on the line. The match would be contingent on the two retaining their titles until the show. Reigns previously defeated McIntyre at WrestleMania 35.
They’ve been here before. Check out Reigns vs. McIntyre:
Opinion: This could go multiple ways, though hopefully neither of them win the match clean, or even anywhere close to it. There is no reason for either champ to lose here, though there is always the chance that we could be seeing some kind of shenanigans. I’m not wild on this kind of match most of the time, but dang that does sound like it could be a lot of fun.
