Maybe? We are on the Road To WrestleMania 37 but there are a few other things that need to be done before we get there. That includes a stop at a major pay per view in Fastlane on March 21. The show has barely started its build and that means WWE might want to start picking up the pace. As a result, they might have something rather interesting planned for the show.
One of the more surprising moves of the last month has been the rise of Cesaro. After spinning his wheels for years, often in one tag team after another, Cesaro is finally getting the chance to move up the ladder a bit, with a few wins over some bigger names. Fans have been clamoring to see that take him somewhere, and now he very well could be on his way to something bigger.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE may be planning on having Cesaro face Universal Champion Roman Reigns in a title match at Fastlane. The idea would be to give Reigns a match before he moves on to face Edge at WrestleMania. Fans may also believe that Cesaro could win the title, but there is a concern that Cesaro may not be treated as a serious challenger. No match has been set for Fastlane as of yet.
Cesaro has been on a roll as of late. Check out what he has been up to:
Opinion: I’m really not feeling the idea of Cesaro facing Reigns in such a big match and then losing all over again. There is a chance that WWE finds a way around it and has the match anyway, but odds are it’s going to be Daniel Bryan getting the shot while Cesaro faces Seth Rollins. Hopefully Cesaro gets his chance somewhere in here though, because it is long overdue, even if he doesn’t win.
