Welcome back? While wrestling is one of the most intricate and complicated industries in all of entertainment, there are certain things that are going to keep a wrestler out of the ring almost permanently. Every now and then you hear of a wrestler being blackballed for one reason or another, but on occasion they will pop back up. That is the case now and it is going to create some controversy.

One of the most important stories in a very busy 2020 was the SpeakingOut Movement, which saw a far too large number of wrestlers accused of some form of sexual misconduct at various points of their careers. The only positive to come out of the situation was wrestling being cleaned up from various people who caused these problems in the first place. Now one of them is on his way back to the ring.

According to Fightful Select, Marty Scurll was present at the recent New Japan Strong television tapings and is interested in joining the promotion. Scurll does have a history with New Japan, where he is a former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion. This comes after Scurll was let go from his position as Ring of Honor booker due to allegations against him in the SpeakingOut Movement. Scurll has not wrestled since February 29, 2020 at Ring of Honor Gateway To Honor.

Since Scurll isn’t exactly the most popular star right now, we’ll go with something else. Check out some of the pretty awesome moments in women’s wrestling:

Opinion: This is not something that is going to come across all that well and I’m not sure how many fans are going to approve of the situation. Scurll has not been around the wrestling world in about a year now and I’m not sure how well his return will be received. That is the kind of thing that could be quite risky for New Japan and it would not surprise me to see it being more trouble than it is worth.
