It’s another resource. WWE is the biggest and most powerful wrestling company in the world, meaning that it can do a lot of things that other wrestling companies just can’t. This includes being able to offer some things to its wrestlers that others are unable to do and that includes various forms of support. WWE is doing just that again, but in this case it isn’t exactly an offer.

We are in quite the strange time with the Coronavirus pandemic, social and political unrest and various other problems all taking place at once. That can cause a lot of strife and it isn’t likely to get much easier for the time being. As a result, it can be helpful for people to have somewhere to turn. That is where WWE is stepping in again, and hopefully it can be useful to some in the company.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE is requiring its wrestlers to undergo a mandatory counseling session on October 28. The subject of the session will be keeping healthy relationships and will be followed by a second, smaller session at a later date, consisting of groups where individuals can be more comfortable asking questions. There is no word on how many sessions will be required in total.

WWE has offered counseling before. Check out some of its mixed results:

Opinion: I can get the idea here and while it might be designed to help the promotion more than the wrestlers themselves, it is something that could do something good for the wrestlers as well. That is a good thing for everyone involved, as these really are stressful times. Hopefully this makes things a little bit better for everyone involved, as there is nothing wrong with getting some help when you need it.
