Inappropriate behavior isn’t a good sign. A lot of the news in wrestling isn’t the most serious stuff in the world. Sometimes it’s a storyline and sometimes it’s something that happened on one of the weekly TV shows, but other times it can be something a lot more important. That seems to be the case here and it’s involving a big name who could be in some trouble out of this situation.
According to former WWE writer Court Bauer on an MLW podcast (summarized via Reddit), Randy Orton had a habit of coming into the writers’ room and introducing himself to the new writing staff. However, before doing this, Orton would reach into his pants, expose himself and touch his genitals with his hand, which he would then extend for a handshake. When a writer would decline, Orton would yell at them, suggesting they were acting as if they were above him and threaten to talk to Vince McMahon about them. Bauer says that this happened to him on his first day with the company, which would be around March 2004.
Bauer has since confirmed the incident:

In case you need something a little better from Orton.
Opinion: I don’t see this ending well. This is a subject that has been in the news as of late and WWE isn’t exactly a company that is going to try to avoid punishing someone for this. The only thing that might help Orton is how long ago this may have been. His past issues with mistreating co-workers are well known and his attitude and behavior have said to improve quite a bit in recent years. I can’t imagine Orton being fired over this, but he’ll likely be punished somehow.
How do you think Orton will be punished for this? What should happen to him? Let us know in the comments below.
