It had been previously reported that Conor McGregor plead guilty to Disorderly Conduct charges, following an incident at UFC 223 in which he threw objects at a bus that was carrying several MMA fighters.

However, this did not stop the world from finding a way to get him back into the Octagon.

According to a report from ESPN earlier this week, UFC has announced that McGregor will be making his long-awaited return to the world of Mixed Martial Arts. He will take on undefeated lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov on October 6 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The company has put together a clip of all of the matches that will be happening and you can see it below:

What makes this fight even more intriguing is that not only was Nurmagomedov on the bus that McGregor attacked earlier this year, but he was reportedly the main target.

Editor’s Opinion:

Was there anyone out there that didn’t see this coming? This is a WWE story that is being played out in real life; though I wouldn’t be surprised if both of these fighters conjured up this incident to make their long-awaited showdown even more intriguing.
