I’d call it a valid. While the WWE Monday Night Raw and SmackDown rosters are officially separate, there are some wrestlers who cross over and appear on both shows on a regular basis. Those are often the biggest stars in the company and it means something when they are gone. That was the case this week as two stars were gone, possibly due to a rather serious legal issue.
The Usos were missing from this week’s WWE SmackDown in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, with Roman Reigns being told that it was due to some kind of “trouble at the border”. According to SportsKeeda, this may have been due to the Usos’ history of DUI arrests, which make it difficult to enter the country, though this is NOT confirmed. Next week’s Monday Night Raw also takes place in Canada, meaning that if this is the reason, the Usos will not be on that show either.
Opinion: I’d be curious to know if this is the case, but it would make sense. There are legal issues that can cause problems for the Usos elsewhere and there isn’t much that WWE can do about that. In short, just because you are a famous wrestler doesn’t mean that you are automatically allowed to go anywhere you want. If this it he case, the Usos will be back next week, so it is hardly the worst result. It is certainly interesting though, even if it is not for a great reason.
