He’s next. WWE has been around for a very long time and that means the company has a deep history. There have been all kinds of wrestlers who have gotten in the ring and some of those names are among the biggest in wrestling history. As a result, the company knows how to look back at things from over the years and that is what they are going to be doing again for a major star.
WWE has announced that they will be celebrating Goldberg’s 25th anniversary in September. Goldberg made his WCW TV debut on the September 22, 1997 Monday Nitro and went on to win his first 173 matches. Throughout the month, WWE will be honoring Goldberg on its various social media channels, though there is nothing to suggest that Goldberg will be appearing on WWE TV.
Opinion: This is the kind of thing that Goldberg deserves as he really was one of the biggest stars in wrestling history. Goldberg did not stay in the ring very long but he was presented just right and knew how to make an impact. WWE knows how to present its major stars as big deals and that is what they seem to be doing again with Goldberg, as this is a celebration they seem to be pushing.
