Welcome back. There are a lot of stars on the AEW roster, to the point where it can be difficult to keep track of all of them. Some of those wrestlers will disappear for long stretches at a time for one reason or another, which can lead to some great moments when someone returns. One prominent AEW star did just that over the weekend and it was rather cool to see.

This weekend at AEW All Out, Wardlow and FTR defeated the Motor City Machine Guns and Jay Lethal in a six man tag. After the match, Ring Of Honor Television Champion Samoa Joe made his return and helped Dax Harwood’s daughter pin Lethal. This was Joe’s first appearance since Ring Of Honor Death before Dishonor in July, as he has been off filming the first season of the Twisted Metal series.

Opinion: This is the kind of return that can be great for AEW as Joe is the kind of person who can bring some fire into any promotion. The fans care about him and no matter what he is doing, they will react to him in some way. Joe has not really had much of a chance to get going in AEW and it will be nice to see him getting the chance to show what he can still do.

What did you think of Joe’s return? How will it go for him? Let us know in the comments below.
