They’re going early this time. Less than two months from now, SmackDown Live will be debuting on FOX. With the move, WWE will have the largest audience it has had for one of its regular shows in history, meaning that they need to get this right. That means they need to plan things in advance and, in addition to the SmackDown Live 20th Anniversary celebration, a match is already planned for the October 4 show.

The Staples Center (where the October 4 show will be taking place) Twitter account had released a video for the show, including the announcement of Kofi Kingston defending the SmackDown World Title against Randy Orton and Dolph Ziggler. This ad is preliminary and could be subject to change, as is the case with all such ads. At the same time, there is a strong chance that this is a dark match for after the show.

It’s early but they seem ready. Check out the advertisement for the show:

Opinion: This seems like a dark match more than anything else, though I would be a bit surprised if Kingston held the title that long in the first place. That would put his reign at about six months, which is longer than a lot of people have held the title combined. Kingston has had a rather healthy reign and if he holds it all the way until October, I would be rather impressed.

Do you think Kingston will still be champion in October? What are you expecting from the show? Let us know in the comments below.
