All hail. When you break everything down, wrestling comes down to the idea of competition. What matters most is who wins something because it means that you are the best. Very few people can claim the status at the top of the mountain over their careers but there are certain accomplishments that suggest a high level of success. One of those accomplishments is coming back next week.
This week on Monday Night Raw, WWE announced the return of the King of the Ring tournament, which will begin next week on Monday Night Raw. It is not clear if this will be a one night event or the first of several nights of the tournament. No other details, such as number of entrants, brackets or a prize to the winner has been announced as of yet. The King of the Ring has taken place every few years since 2002, when the annual pay per view was scrapped.

Opinion: Works for me. Monday Night Raw has a lot of talent on their hands and a tournament like this is a good way to showcase some of that talent. Maybe they can even bring some people up to introduce some brand new names. The tournament has been gone for long enough that it feels fresh and that could make for a good night, or perhaps a series of nights.
