The popularity is strong. Over the last few months, few WWE names have received as much attention as Bray Wyatt. Despite only wrestling one televised match in a year, Wyatt has become one of the most talked about performers in the company due to his Firefly Fun House. Wyatt’s new Fiend persona made its in-ring debut at Summerslam and that meant WWE was ready to capitalize.

As announced on WWE.com, a limited edition Wyatt Firefly Fun House box set sold out in about three hours on Monday. Each box contained a limited edition shirt, an autographed postcard, cutouts and a display set, pictures and stickers. There were a total of five hundred boxes available for $39.99 each, many of which are now selling for well over $200 on eBay.

Opinion: I don’t know if it was a love for Wyatt or a love of being able to mark up the prices, but I’m sure WWE is happy with these results. Wyatt has been a very different kind of character since the new persona debuted and that makes for some very interesting segments. It’s no wonder that these sold well, though I can’t imagine anyone believed they would sell this well this fast.
