It’s another way to go. We are about six weeks away from WrestleMania 37 and that means it is time to start putting the final touches on the show. That would usually only include the wrestling and matches themselves, but this time around things are a bit more complicated. Above all else, WWE has to find a way to get fans into the building to make things look better, but now things might be a bit more complicated.
This year’s WrestleMania is going to be a special one as the show will see the return of live fans to WWE. There have not been a major amount of fans in attendance for almost a year now and having them back, even a nice portion of a stadium full, will be a huge change for WWE. Now WWE needs to make this work, but the boss has thrown a bit of a change into a possible plan.
According to Fightful Select, Vince McMahon is against the idea of having cardboard cutouts used to fill in the empty seats at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. The show will have reduced capacity attendance due to Coronavirus restrictions with only a percentage of live fans being allowed. The idea was used at the Super Bowl earlier this month with WWE officials loving the idea. There is no word on why McMahon does not like the idea or whether or not there is a chance of making him change his mind.
A crowd can change a WrestleMania. Check out what they can see at the show:
Opinion: This is as McMahon of a move as you’re going to find and I can’t say I’m all that surprised. McMahon is going to want to see as many people as possible, but why leave the spaces empty when you can throw something in there to make the visuals that much better? There is a good chance that WWE might change things up and that would make the show feel more like a WrestleMania.
