That’s a good co-worker. One of the biggest problems for wrestlers is finding out what to do after their time in the ring is over. Some of them have spent so much of their time in wrestling that they don’t quite know what else to do. A lot of wrestlers try to figure that out with limited success, but there are cases where someone has another idea in mind from the start. That is the case with a current WWE star.
Over the last year or so, R-Truth has managed a career resurgence as the centerpiece of the group of wrestlers fighting over the 24/7 Title. It has extended R-Truth’s career despite him being forty eight years old, which is a lot longer than several wrestlers last in the first place. R-Truth offers a lot of things to any company, one of which is the cool idea of rapping his own theme song to the ring. That is part of R-Truth’s music career, which is getting a boost from a surprising source.
In a new interview with Red Hands TV, R-Truth revealed that Roman Reigns is one of the executive producers of his music, meaning that Reigns is funding some of the music that R-Truth releases. Reigns also critiques R-Truth’s music when the two of them ride together. The music is also played for everyone else around the locker room backstage at WWE events to give R-Truth as many opinions as he can find.
There’s a lot here. Check out the full interview with R-Truth:
Opinion: That’s a very cool thing for Reigns to do and a case of putting his money where his mouth is. You can say all of the nice things that you want about something someone does but putting your money down to help make it work is a big deal. I’m not sure how much Reigns is spending on this but if he wants to do that, then good for him with doing something that helps someone else. Also, good for R-Truth for pursuing his passion and trying to have something else for himself after his career is over.
