Video: Paige Injured at House Show

Please don’t be too bad. Paige returned to the WWE just a few weeks ago and has been on fire ever since. She’s in charge of her own stable and could be a dark horse candidate to win the Women’s Royal Rumble. That’s quite the comeback since returning from a major neck injury, but it seems that things might have been slowed down a bit during tonight’s house show.

According to Wrestlinginc.com, Paige was injured in a six woman tag at tonight’s house show in Uniondale, New York. Paige was teaming with her Absolution teammates to face Bayley, Sasha Banks and Mickie James. During the match, Banks kicked Paige in the back, causing a legitimate injury. The match was stopped and a stretcher was brought out for Paige, who did manage to walk out with some assistance. Here’s a video of the aftermath.

Opinion: Oh no. Paige has been great since coming back and hopefully this is just a minor setback. She’s been gone for over a year and only wrestled a handful of times since returning from injury. Maybe this was just a quick bump that didn’t cause her any major issues, but you really never know with something like this.
