Tag Team Title Match Set for Next Week’s “Smackdown Live”

Someone might be on lock. The “Smackdown Live” tag team division has been heating up in recent weeks with several teams being given a renewed chance to shine. With the division being lead by the Usos, there are multiple options for challengers to rise up against the champs. After this week’s show, we now know who is going to be facing the Usos for the titles.

Tonight on “Smackdown Live”, Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin defeated Rusev Day and New Day in a triple threat match to become the new #1 contenders to the Smackdown Tag Team Titles. Their title match will be held next week with Gable and Benjamin getting their shot against the Usos.

These teams have had issues before.

Opinion: As confused as I am by having Rusev Day lose the #1 contenders match, this should be quite entertaining if they give it a little time. Gable and Benjamin are getting better as a team and are excellent heels while the Usos have caught fire again with their new characters. This should be fun and a title change wouldn’t shock me.
