It had been previously reported that Vince McMahon may be bringing back the XFL, as he had filed for the trademark back in June of 2017.

It would seem that the sport may have already gained support from an unlikely source.

In a recent interview with TMZ Sports, former WWE superstar Torrie Wilson said the following regrading a resurrection of the league:

“If there’s ever a time to do it, it might be now.”

She further elaborated by saying that due to all of the politics that are going on in the NFL right now, this might be the perfect time for a businessman like McMahon to come in and make a move.

Wilson also said that she would consider being a head cheerleader or a referee for the sport.

Editor’s Opinion:

Honestly, why not? It is an absolutely crazy time in the world of football right now, and with the recent documentary on the failed sport, as well as a culture who is unhappy with the current state of the NFL, a rejuvenated XFL may not be the worst idea that has ever been conceived.
