Video: Kevin Owens Saves Sami Zayn at WWE House Show

That’s what enemies are for. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn have never seen eye to eye on much of anything during their time in WWE. The two have a long history in wrestling, breaking into the business together, wrestling around the world together, and then feuding in NXT. For one night though, things changed a little bit between them.

WWE was in Montreal, both men’s old stomping grounds. Zayn was in action against Jinder Mahal but lost the match due to some assistance from the Singh Brothers. Post match the trio attacked Zayn but then this happened.

Owens came out for the save. The unlikely allies then beat up one of the Brothers before Owens left Zayn to end the show. There is no reason to believe that this is anything more than a one time event.

Opinion: This is why I love house shows. There’s something so awesome about the fans live in the arena getting a special treat and this is something that would only work so well in Montreal. The fans are going to love anything these two do there and seeing them reunite, even for only a few minutes of one night, was likely a great thrill.
