Well it took long enough. Over the last few weeks, one of the biggest stories on Monday Night Raw has been the question of whether or not Seth Rollins has been in league with AOP. The team has not been back on Monday Night Raw for very long and Kevin Owens has accused the three of them of being a unit. It was not clear what was going on, but now things have become rather obvious.
This week on Monday Night Raw, Owens went after the AOP and attacked the van they used to get to the arena. The AOP then arrived and attacked him, revealing that Rollins was in the back of their van. Rollins then hit the Stomp on Owens, sending him head first into the concrete. This marked the first confirmation that the three were a unit, but there was an explanation to the whole thing.
That’s how you start things off. Check out the attack:
Rollins went on to explain that the three of them had not been together for several weeks, but the fans refused to believe Rollins’ denials. This led him to join forces with the AOP because there was no reason for him to fight on his own any longer. Rollins and the AOP then left together. At the moment, neither Rollins nor Owens are scheduled for a match at Tables, Ladders And Chairs.
And then there was the big explanation. Check out Rollins explaining his action:
Opinion: That’s an interesting way to do things, though it might have made sense to have Rollins just join up with the two of them in the first place. Instead, we wouldn’t have had to go through two weeks of “you’re with them”, “no I’m not” before getting to “yes I am”. It should work in the long term, but having it work out in the short term might have been a nice change of pace.
