Well something has to slow him down. Braun Strowman has been one of the most dominant performers in WWE in recent years. There are very few names who have been able to slow him down and that seems likely to be the case for the time being. I’m not sure if he will ever be World Champion, but he might not need to be at his rate. However, one thing seems to have gotten in his way and it isn’t a good sign.

Injuries can creep up on anyone at any given time in wrestling. They can come in many forms, with some being a lot worse than others. While the devastating and career ending ones are by far the worst, one of the most annoying are the ones that may go on and off over time. Some of these can bring down a career in a hurry and while we may not be there yet, one such injury is causing some issues.

According to F4WOnline.com, Strowman was held off of this weekend’s live events due to a back issue. The injury is described as “back spasms” but WWE claimed that the injury was a sore hip. Strowman missed a show in Jacksonville, Florida where he was scheduled to face Bray Wyatt for the Universal Title. There is no word on how long Strowman will be out of action, but it does not seem to be long.

This is what a healthy Strowman can do. Check out some of his best power displays:

Opinion: Strowman is an interesting yet also saddening case as he was built up as a monster who couldn’t be stopped until he was stopped and then a lot of the energy went away. I’m not sure if he will ever be World Champion but we might be to the point where he doesn’t need it. Strowman can do a lot of entertaining things in the ring, but if he never moves up to the top of the food chain, his career won’t be as strong as it could be.
